Gold Filled
Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating. It has 100x more gold than your average plated jewelry. USA industry standards legally require 1/20th, or 5% pure gold by weight when producing gold filled. Rather than having a dipped layer of gold, gold filled is made with gold alloy that is pressure bonded onto a base metal in multiple layers.
